November 29 (BTA) – The total business climate indicator in November has risen by 1.2 percentage points month-on-month, the National Statistical Institute said on Friday. The composite indicator ‘business climate in industry’ approximately retains its previous month level. The statistical survey reveals some optimism in enterprise managers for the next six months, combined with favourable expectations about their operation in the next quarter. The indicator ‘business climate in construction’ rose by 2.3 percentage points, due to the favourable assessment and expectations of construction entrepreneurs. In their opinion, production orders increased, but their forecasts for the next three months are slightly lower. ‘Business climate in retail trade’ rose by 2.7 percentage points as a result of improved retailer assessment and expectations about the condition of enterprises. The forecasts for the volume of sales in the next quarter are also favourable. The service sector retained its October level. Managers are optimistic about the development of business in the sector over the next six months, as well as about an improving demand for services over the next quarter./RY/BR /СН/
