April 19 (BTA) – The number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Bulgaria reached 894, the Health Ministry reported on Sunday afternoon. The total includes 10 new cases confirmed during the day, among them 6 in Sofia, 2 in Sliven and 1 each in Plovdiv and Yambol. Currently, 259 confirmed COVID-19 patients are under medical observation in hospitals. Thirty-six patients are in intensive care wards and clinics. The infection has been confirmed in 69 medical workers. The number of COVID-19 deaths in Bulgaria is 42. RY/VE //
