(DF) Bulgaria Marks May 1: Labour Day and International Workers’ Solidarity Day

May 1 (BTA) – Bulgaria marks May 1, Labour Day and International Workers’ Solidarity Day, with parades and events across the country. President Rumen Radev and the two biggest trade unions (CITUB and the Confederation of Labour Podkrepa) greeted Bulgaria’s workers on their holiday. The Bulgarian Socialist Party also marked May 1 as the anniversary of the party’s newspaper Duma, and as day of the socialist press. RY/MT /МТ/
