(NW) Bulgarian Industrial Association President Radosvet Radev Dies

August 6 (BTA) – The President of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA), Radosvet Radev, has passed away on Friday at the age of 61, BIA reported. “We extend our deepest sympathies to his family and friends, as well as the team of Darik Radio – his biggest love!” reads the message. Bulgarian President Rumen Radev also expressed condolences. “As BIA President, he worked actively and devotedly with politicians, civil formations, state institutions and social partners, led by the idea of creating a predictable and favourable environment where Bulgarian businesses can develop and prosper.” The head of State said that Radosvet Radev will be remembered for his contribution to the development of media in Bulgaria. Darik Radio, which he founded, contributed to the media pluralism in this country and gave a number of journalists the chance to develop professionally and deploy their talent, President Rumen Radev said.
