Parliament to Hold Hearings of Defence Minister Zakov, Interior Minister Rashkov

At its plenary sitting on Friday, Parliament will hold hearings of Defence Minister Dragomir Zakov and Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov about the small aircraft which violated the Bulgarian air space on June 8.
The plane landed on a private land between Targovishte and Shumen, Northeastern Bulgaria and was tracked down by the competent authorities. Initially, the aircraft took off from Hungary and overflew Serbia and Romania without an approved flight plan. An investigation is underway.
The hearing was requested by two GERB-UDF MPs – Hristo Gadzhev and Tomislav Donchev.
Participating will also be Outgoing Deputy Prime Minister and Regional Minister Grozdan Karadjov, Justice Minister Nadezhda Yordanova, Healthcare Minister Asena Serbezova, Agriculture Minister Ivan Ivanov, e-Government Minister Bozhidar Bozhanov, outgoing Energy Minister Alexander Nikolov, and Culture Minister Atanas Atanassov.
