On this date in Bulgarian history:
1990: Working People’s Party, established April 25, 1990, is renamed Bulgarian Communist Party.
1999: Bulgaria accepts NATO’s proposal to sign agreement allowing transit to Allied forces and equipment for Operation Joint Guardian in Kosovo.
2000: Bulgaria’s Parliament ratifies ILO Convention C182 concerning the Prohibition and Immediate Action for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of Child Labour.
