Bulgarian Parliamentary Delegation Pays Official Visit to Turkiye, December 18-20

At the invitation of the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, Mustafa Sentop, a Bulgarian parliamentary delegation, led by National Assembly Chair Vezhdi Rashidov, will pay an official visit to Turkiye from December 18 to 29, Parliament’s Press Centre said.
On Monday in Ankara, after a wreath-laying ceremony at the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Rashidov and Sentop will hold a one-to-one session, followed by plenary talks. The two are also scheduled to give joint statements for the media. 
On Tuesday, the delegation will leave for Istanbul, where they will meet with Vasil Liaze, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Exarchate Orthodox Church Foundation in Istanbul, and with members of the Board.
The guests from Bulgaria will visit the St Stephen Church, where a prayer service will be celebrated.
A meeting with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I at the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople is scheduled as well.
