New Evelina Valchanova Exhibition Features Gold as Symbol of Faith and Hope

The golden colour as a symbol of faith and hope is the focus of an upcoming exhibition, titled “Structural Landscape” by artist Evelina Valchanova. The exposition will open on February 15 at the nOva art space gallery, Valchanova said.
The works in the exhibition were created in 2022 and feature relief structures as a means of expression. In the paintings, Valchanova uses a minimalist approach to create the theme. The use of colour is also minimal in order to bring focus to the senses of calm and peace that it brings due to resemblance with sand zen garden footprints, Valchanova added.
The Structural Landscape painting project is supported by the National Culture Fund’s Creative Fellowships programme.
Evelina Valchanova is a 2006 graduate of the Ilia Petrov National School of Fine Arts with a degree in painting. She is an active painter, fashion and graphic designer. Not only does she participate in general exhibitions in selected galleries, but also presents her new works in an online art platform.
