Larisa Ilieva Arranges Rainbow Seasons Exhibition at Gallery 88 Kamen Popov

Larisa Ilieva presents new exhibition at Gallery 88 Kamen Popov. The vernissage of the exhibition Rainbow Seasons will be on April 11, the gallery said. The exhibition will be on display between April 11 and May 11.  “The upcoming exhibition Rainbow Seasons at “Gallery 88 Kamen Popov” is a pictorial patchwork of images, time intervals and moods highlighting hope as a driving factor and survival mechanism for people in difficult times. Today’s super-consumerist reality confronts us daily with violence and insane confrontation between people, sometimes degenerating into total hatred and wars. My reaction as an artist is to turn my gaze to nature, from which I draw inspiration and escape from the negatives of the times. In it I find the natural balance and beauty in life, lending my paintings the signs of the good inherent in every person,” says the artist.
Larisa Ilieva graduated the Faculty of Arts in Veliko Turnovo University, Bulgaria, in 1996. She first worked in classical realist style, landscapes, still lives and portraits using pastel technique. After 2009 Larissa divided her creative work and life between Paris, France and Bulgaria. She has had more than 20 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria, France, Luxembourg, USA and participated in numerous international group exhibitions.
